You can delete your YardIQ account and all of your data at any time, directly from inside the app. No email request required.
Step-by-step
- Open the YardIQ app on the device you signed in with.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll down to the Delete data section near the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete data and read the on-screen warning carefully.
- Confirm the action by following the prompts. The deletion is permanent.
What gets deleted
Deleting your data removes the following permanently:
- Your YardIQ account and login credentials
- Your profile, lawn details, and saved preferences
- All photos you uploaded for lawn analysis
- Your generated lawn schedules, history, and progress
- Any chat history with the in-app assistant
What this means
- The deletion is immediate and permanent — we cannot restore your data after you confirm.
- You will need to create a new account from scratch if you want to use YardIQ again later.
- If you have an active Ad-Free subscription, deleting the app data does not cancel it. Cancel your subscription separately in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) before deleting your data, otherwise you may continue to be billed.
- Anonymised analytics already aggregated into our reporting cannot be tied back to you and are not removed.
Can't access the app?
If you have lost access to your device or account and cannot complete the steps above, email privacy@yardly.app from the email address linked to your account and we will action your deletion request within 30 days.
